Ride Hope Ranch
Get in the Saddle
Everyone rides at Hope Ranch. Horseback riding helps people to achieve a quality of life that is improved, enhanced, and enriched through contact with horses. Based on input from doctors, therapists, teachers, and parents the student’s individual goals are designed to complement ongoing therapy and education. Individual and class goals encourage each rider to be the best he or she can be, on or off the horse.
For individuals with mental or emotional disabilities, the unique relationship formed with the horse can lead to increased confidence, patience, and self-esteem. The sense of independence found on horseback benefits all who ride (NARHA).
Individuals are invited to join riding classes to learn to ride and develop their skills on a horse. Scholarships are available, so let’s ride!
Therapeutic Riding Programs
