This is Jane, she has Cp and uses a wheelcahir and rides at Hope Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center. She has been riding for two years. Her goal and dream was to ride in a real horse show with everyone else. Well April 4th 209, the Northeast Kansas Hunter Association and the Flint Hills Pony Club made that possible for Jane. She rode in the leadline class and the walk trot class to participate as an ordinary rider. She is using a western saddle because it gives herthe support she need as a disabled rider. She would probably take exception to the disabled rider part, because she feels she is an ordinary rider, however, we think she is exceptional.
